Pontiac Police Department

Pontiac Police Department has lost 2 officers across 124 years on record. 2 — 100% — were killed feloniously, meaning officers were deliberately targeted and murdered in the line of duty. This is 43.7 percentage points above the national average of 56.3% for Police Departments — reflecting the particular danger faced by officers in this jurisdiction.

This agency has also lost 1 K9 partner — working animals who served alongside officers and gave their lives in that service. They are honored on this memorial alongside every officer.
